We had the most perfect, special day, it was everything we hoped for and so much more! So pleased the rain stayed away for the ceremony too. Thankfully, also surprisingly hangover-free the next day!
We absolutely loved the ceremony, it was the exact vibe we wanted and you captured and told our story so beautifully. You honestly made the most amazing ceremony and i think just about every single guest that I spoke to commented on how wonderful it was and how lovely you were.
My dad said he had been nervous all day (and the days before) but after talking to you before walking down the aisle he felt so much better. My sister also told me that it was by far the best ceremony she’s seen (and she’s been to a few weddings!). It was so personable and VERY us and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better person to do our ceremony. Everyone said how relaxed, informal and personal the ceremony was and that was really down to you and the way you orchestrated the whole thing. From the moment we met you on Zoom we knew you were the Humanist for us. Throughout this whole planning process you have been such a pleasure to work with. Always there when we needed you (like when I had a freak out about filling in the M10 form!). Always at the other end of the phone and always putting our minds at ease about everything.
You were cool as a cucumber on Saturday and that really helped both Kieran and I to feel relaxed and really enjoy every moment of our ceremony, maybe minus the warm margarita! Haha

Apologies for not sending this sooner but life has been a bit hectic since the wedding! We just wanted to say thank you so much for conducting such a lovely ceremony for us, our guests were talking about it all night! When we were initially looking for a humanist we were so worried about the ceremony being really long and cheesy and us being all embarrassed but we didn’t need to worry about any of that with you.
We also wanted to thank you for being such a great support for David before the ceremony, he said you were a godsend to him!

First of all, we can’t thank you enough for not just marrying us but all that you have done for us since we first got you booked up for our big day! From relaxing us and keeping us right (even at the bottom of the aisle with Mr Jellylegs!)- explaining everything to us, letting us know what was expected of us, ensuring we had a smile on our faces and zero stress! You are honestly amazing at your job and we couldn’t have asked for things to be any different! From all the information we flung at you in regards to our lives and relationship, we couldn’t have put all together in a nicer way - the wording was on point and of course the humour you brought was just bang on - making it very much James and I’s ceremony!
SO MANY compliments from friends and family stating how much they loved the ceremony and again, mentioning how you made it perfectly unique to our day, with PLENTY humour so thank you so much! The perfect balance of how a ceremony should be - which immediately helped put EVERYONE in the room at ease, not just James and I.
Thank you for preventing the groom from fainting also - the heat in there was stiflingly hot! Our wedding video is perfect though - despite James no longer in his jacket, you would NEVER know it had happened! So well done you for remaining so composed and also for sussing out his swaying!!

Wow….. I don’t even know where to begin! We are still in our little wedding bubble after the most perfect fairytale day. And what a huge part you played in it!
From meeting you originally we knew you were the perfect guy to marry us at GG’s Yard! You have been a wonderful support the whole way through, including the covid cancellation and all my little queries along the road.
We knew that you were going to be amazing on Sunday… but you well and truly blew it out the park. Thank you for being there for Andrew in his time (or many times) of need that morning - I don’t think he has any tears left! But most importantly thank you for the most personal, touching and fun ceremony we could have asked for. It has been the talking point of all of our guests as well as our biggest highlight of the day. For us, our nerves and everyone else disappeared and it was only me, Andrew and you! Just perfect!

Where do I start.....
What a day it was! Absolutely magical! Our fairytale wedding was just perfect and it could not have happened without all your help and support! We are both truly grateful for everything you done for us during planning, your help and guidance was fantastic from day one!
On the day of our wedding you talked us through everything, we were never left wondering about what we should do or say. You calming nature certainly did help with our nerves. The ceremony itself was fantastic, it really focused on us both as a couple and the love we share for each other. It also had just the right amount of humour! All our guests commented on how wonderful it was!
Our wedding really was an amazing and emotional day. Given the significance of our wedding date being my late granny's birthday and the sad and heartbreaking passing of Ryan's Granny just a few weeks prior, you certainly managed to capture and honour them both during our ceremony and for that we cannot thank you enough.

Angus said you were very grounding for him. You never got annoyed when everyone was pulling him away or asking him questions while you were trying to speak to him. He said you had a very calming nature.
I only got to speak to you for 30 secs before the ceremony but you made me laugh and told my dad what he had to do...... Not that he listened to all of it
We are so pleased with how the ceremony went, it's funny we both said it felt like we were the only people in the room and laughing at my nervous 1 liners was top notch!

Our day was absolutely perfect. We wouldn’t change a thing, and I think it was made even more special after all the stress we had been through and actually it forced us into having the wedding we had always dreamed of!

Hope you're well. Sorry for the delay in replying but we were on honeymoon in Orkney. A bit different from the originally planned trip to Cape Verde, but the surprisingly good weather meant it was very enjoyable!
Thanks to you for officiating at our ceremony. We made sure that the documentation was filed on time and have now been advised that the certificate is on its way to us :)
There wasn't anything which we thought you could have done better in the process - it was great that you kept in touch during the various developments over the 20 months (!) and could give some advice both about what might work for us (the handfasting ribbon suggestion being a big winner!) and also what you were seeing happen in the broader environment which helped us think through timings (and ultimately led to a very successful day). So really just a positive experience for us. A number of guests specifically commented on the ceremony saying that they loved it because it felt a lot more personal and unique to us, which had been just what we were looking for :)

Alan we honestly cannot fault a single thing. When you came up to see me in the room before hand you had a very calming effect and it’s exactly what my wee Dad needed.
Danny also wants you to know that when you pulled him aside for a quick run through outside the venue it also had a calming effect on him and made him feel a lot more relaxed. It meant a lot to him at the time.
From the very first word at the ceremony I just knew we had made the right choice in having you there. Throughout the day family and friends were commenting on how fab you were and that you captured “our story” perfectly. Our usher Ciaran still can’t believe he got a wee mention haha!
